Blueberry and Cacao Overnight Oats Recipe

Try this breakfast as a great start to the day! The oats slowly release energy throughout the morning so you’re not starving an hour after eating. The flaxseeds are a phytoestrogen which help balance out your oestrogen levels and the blueberries and cacoa provide an antioxidant boost.

(Serves 1)

20g porridge oats

50ml almond milk

1tbsp flax seeds, optional

1tsp honey

50g blueberries

1 tbsp cacao powder

  1. In a medium bowl, mix together the oats, milk, flax seeds, cacao and honey.
  2. Roughly mash in the blueberries, cover and chill overnight.
  3. For extra creaminess add a tbsp of yoghurt.
